New Posted Stamps
The chairman of the post office, Jose Damian Santiago, presented on the 2nd April, a series of postal stamps called Architecture. The series consists of six stamps dedicated respectively to the Auditorio de Tenerife (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), Casa Vicens, Montjuic Communications Tower and Agbar Tower (Barcelona) and Palace Longoria and Torrespaña (Madrid). The stamps have a print run of one million copies and value postal 0.31 euros.

The Post Office have issued to date a further 13 stamps dedicated to architecture, and the stamp presentation will take place under the XL National Stamp Exhibition which is to be held in Madrid.

The Post Office wanted to create a series of stamps devoted exclusively to this social and artistic activity to show and recognize the most emblematic works of architecture in the country, highlighting those that are often not well known by the society.
