New Tram Lines
Work on the first phase of the implementation of Line 2 of the tram between the districts of La Cuesta and Tíncer begins this week, as reported by the company in charge of managing and developing projects tranviarios, Metropolitano de Tenerife (MTSA).

Therefore, on Friday night work will begin in the marked area, with the corresponding detours for traffic and informational signs; the work will include demolishing of existing pavements.

The section works, which extends from the San Jose Obrero street (Polvorín) to the junction at Taco will keep a lane of traffic operating on the left side and access for pedestrians, homes, garages and shops on both sides. Also, in order to keep the traffic flowing in the area various streets will have alternative routes for traffic during the execution of the work. For bus lines and school buses there will be adjustments to itineraries and temporary stops.

The work in this first phase will last approximately six months.
