This sport convention will take place in April 18th to 20th and it comprises dance styles such as salsa, funky and hip-hop.

Arona joins this amusing initiative to boost the practice of non-conventional keep-fit exercise, a healthy leisure choice and a perfect occasion to have fun that will suit all kind of physical condition, ages or music styles.

Through this event our municipality emphasizes its tourism offer which is always trying to complement and diversify. Arona aims to be known not only as a beach destination but a place where people may live a singular musical experience they will remember as an unforgettable and different holidays.

This will be one of the biggest events of the year in which will participate a wide range of well-known professional dancers. Among them Anita Do Santos (known for her work on TV programme and  world salsa champion), Alex Bullón (hip-hop and reggaeton professor also in TV programme).

Outstanding professionals of dance disciplines as salsa, hip-hop and funky will also teach at workshops for health care professionals.

All these rhythms will be equally represented in a dance contest, a Funky and Hip-Hop Championship that you can join. More than 70 groups will enter the competition (minimum of 4 participants each group). First prize winner will receive €1.500  while several gifts will be hand over for the second and third classified.
